Roy Torley will present pictures of Pluto taken during the New Horizons spacecraft flyby. Mega-icebergs of water ice might be floating in seas of nitrogen. Pluto's moon, Charon, might have experienced colossal upheavals in the past, creating huge faults and canyons. These pictures and more suggest that Pluto is geologically active, even though it is located at the fringes of our solar system.
